Edna Mae Richardson Robertson, 86, of the Glenwood Community, wife of the late Sidney Lee Robertson, died Monday, October 5, 2009, at Hospice of the Upstate.
Born in Hartwell, GA, a daughter of the late Arthur Denver and Gladys Goolsby Richardson, Mrs. Robertson retired from the textile industry and was a member of Truth Missionary Baptist Church where she belonged to the Adult Sunday School Class.
Surviving are a son, Danny Lee Robertson of Pickens; a daughter, Sandra R. Mason of Easley; two brothers, James T. Richardson of Louisville, KY, and Nelson Richardson of Tunnel Hill, GA; a sister, Leona Sanders of Hartwell, GA; two grandchildren, Tammy Lynn Mason of Taylors, and Joey Mason of Ellijay, GA; seven great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild. In addition to her husband and parents, Mrs. Robertson was predeceased by four brothers, F.C., Bernice, Horace and Oscar Richardson and by two sisters, Lou Frances Ingle and Anna Norris.
Graveside services will be 2:30 p.m. Wednesday at Greenlawn Memorial Park with Rev. Sammy Kay, Jr., and Rev. Jeremy Wakefield officiating.
Visitation will be from 1:00 until 2:00 p.m. Wednesday at Robinson Funeral Home-Downtown.
The family is at the residence.
