Edna Thompson Senn of Easley, S.C. finished this life's journey and went to be with our Lord Wednesday, August 22, 2007, at Hospice of the Upstate, in the presence of her loving family.

Born in Newberry, Mrs. Senn was a daughter of the late James T. and Ada Maughan Thompson. She graduated from Newberry College receiving a Bachelor of Arts Degree. Mrs. Senn was a retired teacher having taught high school and fifth grade in Georgia, South Carolina and Charlotte, N.C. schools. She taught piano lessons in her home and played piano in church for many years.

Mrs. Senn was a member of Easley Presbyterian Church where she belonged to the Amazing Grays, Fellowship Sunday School Class, and Circle 5. She was also a member of National Educators Association in Charlotte.

Surviving are one daughter and son-in-law, Cheryl and Terry Ledford of Easley; and two grandchildren, Kathryn Lauren Ledford of Charleston, S.C. and Michael Thaddeus Ledford of Easley. Mrs. Senn was predeceased by her husband, Thaddeus Avan Senn, Jr.; two brothers; and one sister.

The memorial service will be 2:00 P.M. Friday at the Foothills Presbyterian Retirement Community, where the family will receive friends prior to the service.

Graveside funeral services will be 4:30 P.M. Friday at Rosemont Cemetery in Newberry.

The family is at the home of the daughter, 121 Sommerset Lane; Easley, S.C. 29642.
