Edward Arthur Collins, Jr. passed away on Wednesday, May 8, 2013 at Cottingham Hospice House.
Mr. Collins was born in Lynn, Mass. and was the son of the late Edward Arthur and Kay Collins. He was retired from Hughes Aircraft Corp. as an aerospace engineer, served in both the U. S. Army and Navy, and was of the Catholic faith.
Surviving are two sons, Edward A. Collins, III and his wife Kelly of Rochester, NY and Michael Collins and his wife Laurie of Seneca; four grand daughters, Courtney, Amanda, Megan, and Catie Collins.
A service to celebrate the life of Ed Collins will be held in the chapel of Duckett-Robinson Funeral Home, Central, at 3:00 P. M. on Friday, May 10, 2013.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Alzheimers Association, 4124 Clemson Blvd. Suite L. Anderson, SC 29621.
