Edward "Eddie" P. Satterfield, Jr.

Edward "Eddie" Pierce Satterfield, Jr., 55, passed away peacefully Tuesday September 3, 2019. He was born in Pickens October 19, 1963, a son of Edward and Mildred Hickey Satterfield.

Eddie was a 1981 graduate of D. W. Daniel High School. He attended Tri County Tech where he studied automotive repair. He worked selling auto parts for commercial accounts at Advance Auto Parts for 27 ½ years. Whenever anyone would call, they would ask for Eddie. He loved to watch sports and was a huge Gamecocks fan as well as the Atlanta Braves. When he wasn't involved with this he was into antiques. He loved buying and selling them. There was often a story behind each item.

Eddie is survived by a sister, Paula Satterfield (Jackie Holden). He was predeceased by his parents.

Funeral services will be held 11 AM Friday, September 6 at the Chapel of Duckett-Robinson Funeral Home, 108 Cross Creek Road in Central.

The family will receive friends from 5:30-7:30 Thursday, September 5 at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers and Eddie's love of music, memorial donations may be made to the Walhalla Performing Arts Center, 101 E North Broad St, Walhalla, SC 29691.

In honor of Eddie's love of the Gamecocks and Braves the family encourages friends to wear t-shirts and jeans.
