Edward "Eddie" Earl Jester, 73, of 120 Forest Park, died Thursday July 16, 2009 at his home.
Mr. Jester was born in Greenville, the son of the late John Clarence and Viola Dempsey Jester. He retired from Perry Correctional Facility and was a U.S. Navy veteran and a member of Riverview Baptist Church.
Surviving are his former wife, Grace Trusty Jester, of Powdersville ; a daughter, Christie Barker, of Simpsonville ; a step-son, Mike Hall, of Greenville ; brother, John A Jester, of Easley ; five grandchildren, Maranda Hall, Michael Hall, Kendra Austin, Nakita Fulton and Marybeth Barker ; a great-grandchild, Bobby Austin.
Graveside services and burial will be 11:00 am Saturday in Robinson Memorial Gardens, 1425 Powdersville Road, Easley.
Family members are at their respective homes.
