Edward Joseph Kreus, 92, husband of Eleanor I. Kreus, formerly of Canton, Michigan, died Tuesday, April 7, 2015 in Clemson, SC.

Born in Calumet, MI, he was a son of the late Joseph and Mary Kreus. He was a graduate of Hancock High School and a retired supervisor with Unisys Corporation. After retiring from Unisys in 1981, he also worked as a technical consultant for Medtronic and Mosaic Systems. He was a US Army Veteran of WWII, having served as a Technical Sergeant in the European Theater in England, France, Belgium, Holland, and Germany. He was a longtime member of VFW Post 345 in Redford, MI.

Surviving in addition to his wife of almost 65 years are: daughter, Karen Thompson and husband, John of Seneca, SC; son, Randal Kreus and wife, Kathleen of Marietta, GA; brother, Carl Kreus and wife, Hulda of Livonia, Michigan; and grandchildren, Kristin Thompson, Brent Thompson, Daniel Kreus and Erin Kreus.

A Graveside Committal Service will be held at 11 AM, Saturday, April 18 at the Committal Shelter at M. J. "Dolly" Cooper Veteran's Cemetery, 140 Inway Drive, Anderson, SC 29621.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be made to Hospice of the Foothills, OMH Foundation, 298 Memorial Drive, Seneca, SC 29672.
