Edward Wayne Rosser, Sr., 65 , of 9 Springside Avenue died at his home on Monday, June 02, 2008.

He was born in Royston, Georgia, a son of the late Almond W. and Jessie Wilson Rosser.

He was a carpenter, a veteran of the U.S. Army and was of the Baptist faith.

He is survived by a son, Edward Wayne Rosser, Jr. of Greenville, a daughter in law, Michelle Cook, and a niece, Dena Crump both of Simpsonville; great nieces, Amy Johnson,of Laurens, Angela Kellner of Liberty, April Johnson of Greenville, Amanda Middleton of Spartanburg; a nephew, Michael Foster of Simpsonville; brothers,Roger Kenneth and Ricky Dale Rosser both of Sumter; sisters,Mary V. Worley and Patricia A. Rosser both of Sumter,Wanda G. Welborn and Cathy M. Yates both of Greenville, Deborah E. Bane of Madison, GA; grandchildren, Edward Wayne Rosser III and Brandy Marie Rosser,

He is predeceased by his wife, Alice Faye Boiter Rosser, a son and daughter in law, Kevin Scott and Tracy Marie Rosser and a brother, Larry Almond Rosser.

Funeral services will be 3:00 pm, Friday, June 06, 2008 in the Chapel at Robinson Funeral Home-Powdersville Road , Easley

Burial will follow in Robinson Memorial Gardens, Easley.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm,Thursday at the funeral home.
