Mr. Edward Charles "Ed" Rush, 74, of 308 Haywood Acres Drive, Easley, SC, loving husband of Myrtice Rush, passed away Tuesday, September 15, 2015 at his residence.

Ed was born on February 9, 1941 to the late Leonard and Eunice Rhodes Rush. He worked as a maintenance supervisor for Camp Bob Cooper with Clemson University and loved to watch westerns on television. He was a fan of football, loving all the teams in South Carolina. Ed was a U.S. Army Veteran and a member of Trinity Baptist Church in Easley.

In addition to his loving wife of 44 years, Ed is survived by a son; Reggie Rush (Julianne), of Brookhaven, Mississippi; two brothers; Robert Rush and Richard Rush; seven grandchildren; Dianna, Tyler, Austen, Chelsey, Britni, Erick, and Aren; and three great-grandchildren; E.J., Kaleia, and Duke. Ed is also survived by two special nieces; Debra Calzadilla and Barbara Bane.

In addition to his parents; Ed was preceded in death by two sons; Eddie and Pat Rush; a brother; James Rush; and two sisters; Frances and Dorothy.

Funeral Services will be held at 1:00 PM Friday, September 18, 2015 in the Chapel of Robinson Funeral Home - Powdersville Road, conducted by the Rev. Darren Smith and the Rev. Randy Smith. Interment will follow at Robinson Memorial Gardens, 1425 Powdersville Road, Easley, SC 29642.

The family will receive friends at the Funeral Home prior to the service on Friday from 12:00 Noon until 12:45 PM.

The family is at the residence.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial donations be made to Trinity Baptist Church, 3570 Old Pelzer Hwy, Easley, SC 29642.
