Edward A. Schlosser

Edward A. Schlosser, 94, of 205 Bud Nalley Drive and husband of the late Irene Platt Schlosser, went to be with the Lord Sunday September 9, 2012 at the Foothills Presbyterian Home.
Mr. Schlosser was born in Salem, Ohio, a son of the late Andrew and Agnes Meiter Schlosser. He was a gratuate of Kent State University and retired from the U.S. Postal Service in Cleveland, Ohio, where he served as an accountant for 24 years. He was previously employed by Payne Bingham Company for 12 years. He was a U.S. Army Air Force veteran of W.W. II and a member of the American Legion Post 52, the D.A.V., was a volunteer at United Ministries, the Y.M.C.A. and a faithful member of Emmanuel Lutheran Church.
Mr. Schlosser was the last surviving member of his family. He is survived by several nieces and nephews.
In addition to his wife and parents, he was preceded in death by brothers, Walter Slosser, William Slosser and Arthur Schlosser; sisters, Hannah Wilcox, Minnie Miller and Helen Schaefer.
Funeral services will be at 3:00 PM Thursday in the chapel of Robinson Funeral Home - Powdersville Road. Burial will follow in Robinson Memorial Gardens, 1425 Powdersville Road, Easley.
Visitation will be from 2:00 until 3:00 PM Thursday at the funeral home, prior to the service.
