Eleanor Ann Henson

Eleanor Ann Henson, 86, of Easley, South Carolina, wife of the late Dean Henson, passed away on Sunday, April 21, 2024.

Born in Cleveland County, North Carolina, she was the daughter of the late Haskell and Annie Sailors Humphries. She was a regular member at Rock Springs Baptist Church as a member of The Prayer Warriors Sunday School Class. Ann was deeply loved by her family and shared a kind spirit that was embraced by many. She practiced what she preached through her genuine love for her church. She worked as a Sales Associate at Belk for over 35 years.

She is survived by her son Kevin Henson (Jean) of Greer; a daughter Kathy Henson of Easley; a brother Dwight Humphries (Gail) of Shelby, North Carolina; two sisters, Joyce Smith (Smitty) of Shelby, North Carolina and Judy Scott  (Earl) of Georgetown, Kentucky; two grandchildren, Ellen Ann Dickenson (Ben) and Jillian Leigh Haramut (Jack); three great grandchildren, Presley and Carson Haramut and Tommy Martin; and a special daughter by choice, Deborah Eiche of Jarretsville, Maryland. A special appreciation to David Patterson for his kindness and companionship for the past 20 years.

She is preceded in death by her brothers Douglas Humphries; Blaine (Naomi) Humphries, Wendell Humphries (Linda) and Roger Humphries (Janice); two sisters, Katherine Camp (Hoyle) and Doris Poston (AP).

The family will receive friends from 11:00 am until 11:45 am on Wednesday, April 24, 2024 at Robinson Funeral Home - Powdersville Road. The funeral service will follow at 12:00 pm in the Chapel. Burial will follow the service in Robinson Memorial Gardens.
