Eleanor Elizabeth Todd Lusk, 100, widow of Furman David Lusk, Sr. and formerly of Greenville, died Friday, January 23, 2009 at Riverside Living Center in Piedmont.
Born in Anderson County, she was a daughter of the late Charlie W. and Minnie Shaw Todd. She was a graduate of Warren Wilson College in 1928 and retired following a 35 year career as a teacher in both public and private schools. She was a member of Pendleton Street Baptist Church in Greenville for over 80 years.
Surviving are a daughter, Dorothy L. Holtzclaw of Easley; one brother, Gilmer Todd of Greenwood; one grandchild, Elizabeth J. Cox; and one great-grandchild, Brittany C. Holtzclaw.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was predeceased by a son, Furman D. Lusk, Jr.; a grandson, Johnny M. Cox; a brother, Major L. Todd; and two sisters, Agnes Todd Lollis and Leatha Todd Lollis.
Funeral services will be 2 PM, Monday in the chapel of Robinson Funeral Home-Downtown, Easley.
A graveside committal service will be held at 3:30 PM, Monday at Greenville Memorial Gardens following the service.
The family is at the home.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Dacusville United Methodist Church, 1365 Thomas Mill Road, Easley, SC 29640.
