Eleanor Mateer Surak, 96, of Central passed away on Wednesday, August 20, 2014 at the Sterling House.
Born on October 12, 1917 in Streator, IL she was the daughter of the late George and Anna Mateer. She retired as an administrative assistant at Lakeside Manufacturing, West Allis, WI.
Surviving are her daughter Beth Anne Neuberger of Mt. Arie, MD, and John and Judy Surak of Clemson. In addition, Eleanor is survived by five grandchildren and five great grand children.
Memorial services were held on August 22 at Holy Trinity Episcopal Church, Clemson.
