ELIZA W. "Liza" SEELY Clemson
Eliza Weeks "Liza" Seely, of 500 Downs Blvd. and widow of Fred Seely, died Saturday, October 7, 2006. A native of Elizabeth, New Jersey she was the daughter of the late Edward and Fredrika Suydam Weeks. She graduated from Boston Bouve with a B.S. degree in Physical Education. She was a homemaker and a former physical education teacher. She was a member of Holy Trinity Episcopal Church and enjoyed bridge, reading and antiquing.
She is survived by daughters: Eliza (Betty) Crosslen and husband Howard of Denver, CO, Edith Schmidt and husband John of Savannah, GA and Sara Walker and husband Myron of Washington, DC; brother Hendryk Weeks of Hendersonville, NC; 5 grandchildren: Eliza Castaneda, Catherine Cavoto, Mara Murphy, Alice Walker and Daniel Schmidt and 7 great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by a grandson: Jorma Crosslen,; sister Fredrika Fisher and brothers: Edward, Rufus and Jack Weeks.
The family will announce a memorial service at Holy Trinity Episcopal Church at a later date. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to St. Paul's Episcopal Church, c/o of Holy Trinity Episcopal Church,193 Old Greenville Hwy., Clemson, SC 29631
