Elizabeth Ann Altman
Easley
Elizabeth Ann Altman, our own personal Wonder Woman was lost to us, Tuesday March 28th at the young age of 65, at home. She was born a gift to John and Clara Ellys at Long Island Jewish Hospital, January 26th 1952 and is survived by her loving husband Joel Altman, her 3 beloved children Denise Apolaro, DJ (Jimena) Apolaro & Katie (Brian) Bolde, as well as her sister Jane Ellys (Peter), grandchildren Stephanie and Dominick Apolaro as well as friends; all whom loved her dearly.
Beth was a fiercely independent woman, who started her life as a proud New Yorker and found a new home in Easley upon coming up for what was supposed to be a quick visit and ended, in a life changing move. She was most happy sitting on her porch enjoying the fresh air, sun on her face as well as the night stars.
Beth enjoyed spending time with her family and was always up for a get together with the girls, the more mischief the better. Known to some as a Mermaid, she loved any chance she got to be in the water and coffee club time after, was not to be missed.
A celebration of her life will be held at 11:00 AM Saturday, April 1, 2017 in the chapel of Robinson Funeral Home-Downtown, 305 W. Main St. Easley, SC 29640. The family politely requests you wear her favorite color blue. The family will receive people at her home to continue the celebration.
Condolences may be expressed online at www.robinsonfuneralhomes.com or in person at Robinson Funeral Home-Downtown, which is assisting the family.
