Elizabeth Gage "Libby" Crowther, 50 of 226 Camelot Road and wife of Pete Crowther, passed away, Tuesday, December 23, 2008 at the Cottingham Hospice House in Seneca.
Born in Asheville, NC, a daughter of Gaston and Lib Massey Gage, she was a retired special education teacher with the Pickens County School District. Libby earned her undergraduate and masters degrees from Clemson University and was member of Fort Hill Presbyterian Church.
Surviving in addition to her husband and parents are one son, Jake Crowther of the home; a daughter, Lisbeth Crowther, a student at USC; and a sister, Ruth Knox of Spartanburg, SC.
Memorial services will be 2 PM, Sunday at Fort Hill Presbyterian Church with Rev. Rodney Norris officiating.
Visitation will be immediately following the service in Tartan Hall.
The family would like to express their special thanks to best friend Tootie Poteet and care-giver, Kianna Brown.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Fort Hill Presbyterian Church Building Fund, 399 College Ave, Clemson, SC 29631.
