Elizabeth "Pat" Tinsley

Elizabeth 'Pat' Tinsley (78), of Easley, SC, born April 14, 1939, wife, mother, grandmother and sister in Christ went to be with her Lord and Savior June 6, 2017, surrounded by her family.

Pat was the daughter of Willard V. Harris and Frances G. Pennington. She is survived by her husband, Jones Frank Neal Tinsley; sister, Mary F. Godzinski, of Greenville, SC; two children, Mary Smith (Beth) of Easley, and Jones Frank Tinsley II (Joey) and Meg, of Hartsville, SC; six grandchildren, Nancy and J.R. Reigel, Nicholas and Daphne Smith, Robert Smith, Rebekah Smith, Sylviann and Marshall Alexander, and Jones Frank Tinsley III; six great-grandchildren, and many more nieces and nephews.

Pat graduated from Parker High School and Drone Business School. She dedicated more than 40 years of service working at Louis P. Batson, Inc. of Greenville, SC. She attended Geer Memorial Baptist Church where she was an active member of the choir and passionately served in the children's nursery and programs. Pat lived for Clemson University sports, especially Tiger football, and was a loyal IPTAY member for thirty-six years. She was certainly 'ALL IN'.

Visitation for family and friends will be Thursday, June 8, 2017, at Robinson Funeral Home - Downtown from 6-8pm. A Celebration of Life ceremony will take place at Geer Memorial Baptist Church in Easley on Friday, June 9, 2017, at 3pm.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks donations be made in Pat's memory to Geer Memorial Baptist Church (911 S 5th St, Easley, SC 29640) or Hospice of the Upstate (1835 Rogers Rd, Anderson, SC 29621).

The family would like to extend their sincerest thanks to the Geer Memorial Baptist Church family for their unconditional love, friendship, and support during this difficult time. The family also extends their deepest gratitude to Greenville Oncology and Hospice of the Upstate.
