Mary Elizabeth “Lib” Sisk Tompkins, 87, beloved wife of the late Billy Gene Tompkins, went home to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ on Saturday, December 23, 2023.

Born in Stephens County, GA, she was a daughter of the late Enary and Viola Funk Sisk.

Mrs. Tompkins worked for 15 years with Palmetto Baptist Medical Center and volunteered for 27 years. She loved her Lord with all her heart and her church family at Brushy Creek Baptist Church. She, along with her husband, were members of The Gideons International.

Surviving are her children, Sherry Booth and Lori Labrash (Paul) of Easley and Joni Harrison (Daryl) of Pickens and daughter-in-law Debbie Tompkins of Easley; grandchildren Heather Seabrook (Brad), Dawn Miller (Jeremy), Carrie Childers (Jarrett), Josh Harrison (Ana), Tyler Booth (Crystal), Mallory Wade (Jason), Dustin Tompkins (Kaitlin), Briana Peek (Ras), and Jacob Harrison (Brett); 13 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren; a brother, Charles Sisk of Columbia; a sister, Ollie Baxter of Bethany, OK and a special sister-in-law and prayer partner Anne Sisk of Easley.  

In addition to her husband and parents, she was predeceased by her son, David Lewis Tompkins; her daughter, Robin Carol Tompkins; sisters, Louise Knecht and Ginny Phillips; and brothers, Enary Sisk, Jr. and Reverend John Sisk.

The family will receive friends on Thursday, December 28, 2023, from 10:00 AM until 11:15 AM at Brushy Creek Baptist Church with the service to follow at 11:30 AM in the church sanctuary. Burial will follow in Graceland West Cemetery.
