Ella Mable Mauldin Black, 80, of 812 Zion School Road, wife of the late Rufus Clyde Black, died Thursday, May 25, 2006, at Palmetto Health Baptist Easley.

Born in Pickens County, a daughter of the late Jerry Benjamin and Addie Mae Pace Mauldin, Mrs. Black retired from Play School Baby and was a member of Zion United Methodist Church.

Surviving are four daughters, Laura B. Clement and Lois B. Gravely both of Easley, Lola B. Hamilton of Liberty and Libby B. Newton of Monroe, NC; two brothers, George Ellis Mauldin and Roy Eugene Mauldin both of Easley; three sisters, Lois M. Covington of Greenville, Margaret Beatrice Anthony of Marietta, GA, and Grace M. Anderson of Canton, GA; nine grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be 2:30 p.m. Sunday in the chapel of Robinson Funeral Home-Downtown with Rev. Russell Elder officiating. Burial will follow in Greenlawn Memorial Park.

Visitation will be Saturday from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.

The family is at the residence.
