Ella Mae Hargrove Usery, 83, of 106 Garrison Street, widow of the late Curtis Usery, died Friday, August 3, 2007, at Palmetto Health Baptist Easley.
Born in Bladen County, NC, Mrs. Usery was a daughter of the late J.A. and Stella Mae Thompson Hargrove. She was a homemaker and was of the Baptist faith.
Surviving family whom she loved dearly are a son, Jimmy Usery and his wife Annette; two daughters, Linda Anne Lesley, Sandra Matthews; a sister, Frances Gilliland, all of Easley; seven grandchildren, Donna Usery, Michael Page and his wife Morgan, Bridget Medlin and her husband Brian, Travis Usery and his wife Alicia, Alex Matthews, Stephen Usery, Curt Matthews; four great-grandchildren, Makaelyn and Ethan Medlin, and Tyler and Brayden Usery; and an honorary granddaughter, Rebecca Pressey. In addition to her husband and parents, Mrs. Usery was predeceased by a son, Ron Usery; and five brothers.
Funeral services will be 2:00 PM Monday in the chapel of Robinson Funeral Home - Downtown with Reverends T. David Sustar, John Brown, and Jim Patterson officiating. Burial will follow in Greenlawn Memorial Park.
Visitation will be Sunday night from 6:00 until 8:00 PM at the funeral home.
