Ellen Glouse Crowe, 79, of 203 Roberts Street, went to be with the Lord Friday December 12, 2008 at Hospice of the Upstate.

Mrs. Crowe was born in Oconee County, SC, a daughter of the late Calvin and Carrie Vaughn Glouse. She retired from Greenwood Mills.

Surviving are her son, Dan Crowe and his wife, Kathy, of Anderson ; a brother, Frank Glouse, of Liberty ; a sister, Ruth Fowler, of Liberty ; grandchildren, Lisa Crowe, of Greenville and Dana Carver and her husband, Timmy, of Liberty ; great-grandchildren, Courtney Carver and Cameron Carver.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Wade Thomas Crowe and a sister, Ruby Mize.

Funeral services will be Monday at 11:00 AM in the Chapel of Robinson Funeral Home - Powdersville Road, Easley, with the Reverend Matthew Cawthorn and the Reverend Scott Uselman officiating. Burial will follow in Robinson Memorial Gardens, 1425 Powdersville Road, Easley.

The family is at the home of Dan and Kathy Crowe, 203 Roberts Street, Anderson, and will receive friends Sunday from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM at the funeral home.
