Ellen Green Davis

Josephine Ellen Green Davis, age 78, passed away Saturday, September 3, 2016 at the Foothills Presbyterian Community in Easley.
Born in Greenville County, Mrs. Davis was the daughter of the late James Carl and Josephine Hinton Green. She graduated from Parker High School in 1956. She was a member of Easley Presbyterian Church for 23 years, where she was an Elder and a member of the Women of the Church.
Surviving are her husband of fifty-six years, Curtis Davis. She was preceded in death by her son, James Curtis Davis.
Memorial services will be held at 2:00 PM Wednesday, September 7, 2016 at Easley Presbyterian Church, 200 South 1st St., Easley, SC 29640 with the Rev. Drs. William P. Seel and Christie S. Gravely officiating. The family will receive friends immediately following the service in the church parlor.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Alzheimers Association of SC, 4124 Clemson Blvd., Suite L; Anderson, SC 29621 or Lutheran Hospice, 429 N. Main Street, Suite 3; Greenville, SC 29601.
