Ellen Elizabeth Waldrop, 80, of Easley, passed away Wednesday, July 1, 2026.
Born in Pickens County, she was a daughter of the late Arthur and Selma Powell Walker.
Ellen earned her Associate's Degree in Textile Management at Tri-County Technical College and later served for several years as a supervisor at Alice Manufacturing. She later worked and retired with the state's Vocational Rehabilitation program, where she also served as supervisor.
She loved clogging, and loved to teach it to others. She also loved bluegrass and classic country music and traveling. Ellen visited all 50 states and even ventured to the North Pole and was featured on several news outlets regarding her adventures.
Ellen is survived by a daughter, April McCall (Ray) of Easley; sons, Kerry Howard (Anthony Diaz) of Easley and Shannon Howard (Amanda) of Pickens; sisters, Brenda Dye and Martha James (Floyd) both of Easley; brothers, William Walker (Dottie) and Stewart Walker of Easley; four grandchildren, Julia Howard, Toni Grace Howard, Alicia McCall, and Addison McCall; and two great-grandchildren, Addalyn Goodwin and Ryker Goodwin.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Arnold Walker.
Funeral services will be held at 12:00 p.m. Monday, July 6, 2026 at the Chapel of Robinson Funeral Home, Downtown. Burial will follow in Greenlawn Memorial Park.
The family will receive friends prior to the service from 10:30 a.m. until 11:45 a.m. Monday, July 6, 2026 at the funeral home.
