Ellenore Bourkland

Ellenore Mary Bourkland, 96, died Saturday, April 5, 2008 at the Clemson Area Retirement Health Center. A native of Rockford, ILL she was the daughter of the late Thomas and Mary Dean Bjorge. She was a graduate of Rockford College and taught English and Drama. In later years she moved to Northern Virginia where she was a member of the Rock Spring Garden Club and operated a floral design business for weddings and special events. She moved to South Carolina in 1995.

She is survived by a son, Martin Bourkland and wife Paula of Brevard, NC, a daughter, Marcia Pauly and husband Frank of Clemson; grandchildren, Chris Pauly of Oak Park, ILL, Beth Enochian and husband Adrian of Chicago, ILL, Wendy Bourkland of Holly Springs, NC, Eric Bourkland and wife Kristin of Springfield, VA and great-grandchildren, Katy and Ethan Enochian. She was predeceased by her husband, Walter M. Bourklnd and brother, Thomas Bjorge.

A Committal service will be held at a later date in Rockford, ILL.
