Elliott Henry Gibson Sr. 83, passed away Wednesday, December 09, 2009, at Cary Health and Rehab in Cary, NC.
Mr. Gibson was born in Anderson County , a son of the late Elliott L. and Bessie James Gibson. He retired from Duke Power Company.
He is survived by two sons, Elliott H. Gibson, Jr. of Apex, NC and Larry Gibson ; grandchildren, Deana Miller, Nikki Oakes, Toye Portman, Ashley Lowe,and Mike Gibson ; great - grandchildren, Cherokee Portman, Storm Portman, Cody Miller, Jadden Oakes and Brayden Oakes.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Hedwig Gibson ; a sister, Nellie Harvey and a brother, Lloyd Gibson.
Funeral Services will be 11:00 a.m. Monday in the Chapel of Robinson Funeral Home - Powdersville Road. Burial will follow in Robinson Memorial Gardens.
Visitation will be from 3:00 until 4:30 p.m. Sunday, at Robinson Funeral Home - Powdersville Road.
