Elmer Richard Davis, 55, of 255 Shemiah Road, died Thursday, February 12, 2009.

Born in Reno, Ohio, he is a son of Dorthy McCain Davis and the late Ellis Howard Davis.

Survivors in addition to his mother are; lifetime companion, Mozell Trotter of Central; brothers, John Morgan of Easley, Harvey Morgan (Sandy) of Alliance, Ohio, Ellis H. Davis, Jr., (Montez) of Easley, Joe Davis of Liberty, Charles Davis, Sr., (Liz) of Liberty, Michael Davis (Rita) of Six Mile, Bruce Davis of Marietta and Richard Davis of Columbia; a sister, Judy Finley (Greg) of Easley; a step-son, Corey Trotter; four step-daughters, Donna Parsons (Allen), Roxie Pinyon, Dee Dee Hernandez (Joey) and Frankie Smith (Scott); several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

The family will be receiving friends from 6-8 PM Saturday, at Robinson Funeral Home - Downtown.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to any Hospice organization.
