Eloise Craft Cooper, 73, of 236 South Old Piedmont Highway and wife of Kenneth Ray Cooper, died Sunday, October 19, 2008 at her residence.
Born in Simpsonville, a daughter of the late William Allen and Carrie Georgiann Thrasher Craft, she was retired from Dunean Mill and was of the Baptist faith.
Surviving in addition to her husband are 6 sons, Clyde Hughes (Kay) and Steve Hughes (Brenda Hines) of Greenville; John Hughes (Nina) and Ricky Hughes of Piedmont, Billy Hughes (May Hampton) of Ware Place, and Kenny Cooper of Pelzer; 2 daughters, Brenda Eddleman and Ellie Hines both of Piedmont; 2 brothers, James Craft of Fountain Inn and Leroy Craft of Mauldin; 2 sisters, Minnie Miller and Geneva Forrester both of Simpsonville; 14 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great grandchild: and her beloved pet dog, Scooter.
In addition to her parents she was predeceased by a son, Timmy Cooper; and a sister, Jessie Hudson.
Funeral services will be 3 PM, Tuesday in the chapel of Robinson Funeral Home-Downtown with Rev. Scott Willis officiating.
The family will great friends immediately following the service at the funeral home.
