Eloise Melissa Thomas Gohr, 89, of 130 Upper Lake Drive, died Saturday, January 5, 2008 at Blue Ridge Living Center.
Born in Minneapolis, MN, she was a daughter of the late Charles L. and Hildur E. Lingrem Thomas. She worked in the Robbinsdale School District in Minnesota, and was a member of Osseo Methodist Church in Minnesota where she was a Sunday School Teacher and a Bible School Teacher. Mrs. Gohr was a Brownie Leader, Campfire Girl Leader, and a 4-H Leader. She loved crafts and all sports, especially bowling and belonged to many different teams and played in tournaments. She enjoyed camping with her friends and going on trips in their motor home. Her favorite was visiting her daughters and their families in different states.
Surviving are two daughters, Sandra Cribb of Easley, SC, DeAnna Lee of Henderson, NV; four grandchildren, Debbie Arcega, Scott Reynolds, Jeff Lee, Cindy Lee; and three great-granddaughters, Jessica and Jennifer Arcega, and Alexis Lee. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, DeWayne Nicholas Gohr.
A memorial service will be 2:00 PM Wednesday in the chapel of Robinson Funeral Home - Downtown with inurnment to follow in Hillcrest Memorial Park Mausoleum.
