Mrs. Elsie Viola "Vi" Lawrence Jurgensen, 79, wife of the late Arthur Robert Jurgensen, passed away Tuesday, July 29, 2014 at Baptist Easley Hospital.
Born in Greenville County, a daughter of the late William Howard and Elsie Dora Lothridge Lawrence, Mrs Jurgensen was a homemaker.
Surviving are four sons, James Timothy Jurgensen, Thomas Julius Jurgensen, Eric Fronz Jurgensen, and Arthur Robert Jurgensen; three daughters, Dora Jurgensen Honeycutt, Louise Jurgensen O'Donnell, and Tammy Lisa Jurgensen Hugate; two sisters, Coralee Culpepper and Nellie Lawson; twenty-six grandchildren, twenty-one great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild. In addition to her husband and parents, Mrs. Jurgensen was predeceased by a son, William Ricky Jurgensen; a daughter, Deborah Anne Valquez; and a sister, Dorothy Louise Schrock.
Memorial services will be 2:00 PM Saturday, August 2, 2014 in the chapel of Robinson Funeral Home-Powdersville Road.
The family will receive friends from 12:30 PM until 1:45 PM Saturday at the funeral home, prior to the service.
The family is at the home, 121B Dodds Road, Easley, SC 29642.
