Emelda Louise "Lou" King, loving wife to Louie Bryan King, Jr. of 51 years, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, November 15, 2017, at her home.
Born in Atlanta, GA, a daughter to the late Harry Edward Brock, Sr. and Lois Brock, Mrs. King was a faithful member of Bethesda United Methodist Church for many years.
Surviving, in addition to her husband, are sons, Kerry Neal King (Theresa) of Belton and Richard Bryan King of Blue Ridge; a daughter, Pamela Elaine Hawkins (Eddie) of Pelzer; and grandchildren, Wesley Neal King (Kayla), Kalli Garrick (Austin), Aaron King, and Jake Marshall.
Along with her parents, she was predeceased by brothers, Harry Edward Brock, Jr. and Jimmy Richard "Ricky" Brock; and a sister, Linda Diane "Tina" Scollon.
She loved her family, decorating, and shopping for others. She was known for being very fashionable, but she was also known for her selfless nature and willingness to help others.
Funeral services will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Sunday, November 19, 2017, at the Chapel of Robinson Funeral Home - Powdersville Road.
Burial will follow at Robinson Memorial Gardens.
The family will receive friends from 1:00 p.m. to 2:45 p.m. on Sunday, November 19, 2017, at the funeral home.
