Emil Matthew Enders

January 14, 1918 — February 26, 2010

Emil M. Enders, 92, of 407 Bayberry Lane, Clemson, SC, died Friday,
February, 26, 2010 at AnMed Health Center in Anderson, SC. Emil was
born in Stoney Plains, Alberta, Canada, son of the late Jacob and Mary
Enders; he married Reta M. Parkhurst in Oswego, IL on August 2, 1941;
she survives. Emil was an Army Air Corps veteran of World War II, where
he served as a navigator in a B-29 Bombadier Squadron. The couple made
their home in Elmhurst, Illinois until 1983. After his retirement from
Life Newspapers in Berwyn, IL, where he worked as a comptroller, Emil
and Reta moved to Keowee Key, South Carolina, and more recently to
Clemson, SC. He was a Charter member of Eternal Shepard Lutheran
Church, Seneca, SC. Surviving, in addition to his wife, are his son,
Randall, of Riverside, IL; and two daughters, Donna (Kent) Charlesworth,
of Cuba, IL, and Kimberly Enders (Mike Baker), of Hinsdale, Illinois;
eleven grandchildren: Brian Charlesworth, Randall Robert Enders, Kristin
Timmons, Matthew Enders, Mark Enders, Daniel Charlesworth, Laura Baker,
Andrew Charlesworth, Jordan Pranger, Erik Baker, James Harlan Pranger;
and five great-grandchildren. Also surviving is one sister, Elsie
Schafer and one brother, Albert Enders. One brother, Clarence Enders,
preceded him in death.

Memorial services will be held Saturday, March 6th, 11:00 a.m. at
Eternal Shepard Lutheran Church with enichment following in the church
columbarium. The family will receive friends at a luncheon immediately
following the service.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Little Lambs Preschool,
Eternal Shepard Lutheran Church, 220 Carson Road, Seneca, SC 29678, or
to the charity of your choosing.
