Emily Eyvonne "Mickey" Cooke, 77, of Easley, passed away Tuesday, August 30, 2016 at McCall Hospice House.

Miss Cooke was born in Haywood County, NC on August 7, 1939 to the late Aldie Eugene, Sr. and Elizabeth Pressley Cooke, Miss Cooke was employed with Palmetto Baptist (now Baptist Easley) as a Volunteer Assistant and she loved to travel the world. She was always eager to help anyone in need, had a strong faith, and was a member of Rock Springs Baptist Church.

Miss Cooke is survived by a brother, Aldie Eugene Cooke, Jr. (Betty T.); of Canton, NC; two sisters, Sue Loftin of La Porte, Texas and Jo Ann Williamson (Nickie) of Canton, NC; and a brother-in-law; Harold Reitzel of Newton, NC. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews, extended family, and many loving friends.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister; Kathleen Reitzel.

Graveside Funeral Services will be held at 1:00 PM on Thursday, September 1, 2016 at Greenlawn Memorial Park, 595 Old Liberty Rd, Easley, SC 29640 with the Rev. Dr. David Gallamore, Rev. Eric Hill, and Rev. Steve Miller officiating.
