Emma Stancil Gillespie, 94, widow of Bluford Gillespie passed away, Saturday, April 5, 2014 at NHC in Anderson.
Born in Fair Play, SC, she was a daughter of the late James Leo and Maebell Hayes Stancil.
She was a member of Refuge Baptist Church and the WMU of the church.
Surviving are two daughters, Inez Kreitz Howard and Patricia Dyar (Harold); sisters, Margaret Piche and Viola Reed; brother, Kenneth Stancil; beloved nephew, Roger Piche (Linda); 7 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren; and 1 great-great grandchild.
Funeral services will be 2 PM, Tuesday at Refuge Baptist Church with burial to follow in the church cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 1 to 1:50PM, Tuesday prior to the service at the church.
The family is at the home of Harold and Patricia Dyar, 136 Howe Road, Central, SC 29630.
