Pendleton

Emma Corbin Richards, 98, widow of Joseph J. Richards, died Thursday, July 22, 2010 at Blue Ridge Living Center in Easley. A native of Pickens County, she was the daughter of the late William "Billy" Corbin and Emma Smith Corbin. She was the last living member of her immediate family. She grew up in the Cedar Rock Community near Easley. She was a long time member of 2nd Baptist Church in Pendleton.

Survivors include a son, Jerry Richards of Central; daughter Marie Terry and husband Rod of Sandy Springs; grandsons Curtis Terry and wife Lisa of Woodruff and Ted Terry and wife Sally of Hershey, PA. Great grandchildren Jonathan Terry and wife Kimberly of Inman, Brooke Terry of Woodruff, Brittany and Josey Terry of Hershey, PA. She was predeceased by brothers, Otis, Jim, Russell and Curtis Corbin and sister Lois Finley.

Funeral services will be Sunday at 3:30pm in the chapel of Duckett-Robinson Funeral Home in Central with burial to follow in Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 2:30-3:30pm prior to the service. Flowers optional or memorials may be made to the Building Fund of Faith Fellowship Church, 2230 Old Greenville Highway, Pendleton, SC 29670
