Eric Milton Hansen, 53, of Easley, died Thursday, March 8, 2007, at Greenville Memorial Hospital.
Born in Canton, New York, Mr. Hansen was a son of Milton Harold and Sally Norton Hansen of Easley. He was an Eagle Scout, a 1978 graduate of Brown University with a Bachelor's Degree in Economics, and worked as a CAD operator doing structural design and drafting.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by a brother, Mikkel Hansen and wife, Susan, of The Woodlands, Texas; and two nieces, Kristin and Stephanie Hansen.
Funeral services will be 4:00 PM Sunday in the chapel of Robinson Funeral Home - Downtown with the Reverend Dr. Bill Seel officiating. Burial will follow in Robinson Memorial Gardens, 1425 Powdersville Road, Easley.
The family will receive friends from 3:00 until 4:00 PM Sunday at the funeral home, prior to the service.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions to the Salvation Army; 501 Old Liberty Road; Easley, SC 29640 or to American Stroke Association; Memorial and Tribute Processing Center; PO Box 5216; Glen Allen, VA 23058.
The family is at the home of his parents.
