Essie Hawkins Lesley, 89, widow of Thomas Lesley, died June 3, 2007, at Westside Nursing Center.
Born in Pickens County, she was the daughter of the late Lester Hawkins and Olive Hawkins Sheriff, and was a member of Rock Springs Baptist Church.
Surviving are a nephew, Ron Black and wife, Laura; a niece, Elaine Memmott and husband, Richard; a great-niece, Leanne Broome and husband, Devon; and a great-great-nephew, Ransom Broome.
She was predeceased by a sister, Jessie H. Black.
Graveside services will be 4:30 p.m. Wednesday at Rock Springs Baptist Church Cemetery.
The family will receive friends immediately following the service at the graveside.
Memorials may be made to the Building Fund of Rock Springs Baptist Church, 201 Rock Springs Road, Easley, SC 29642.
