Esther W. Harrison

Esther Mae Weithuechter Harrison, 90, of 150 Downs Blvd, widow of Richard C. Harrison, died Wednesday, March 10, 2010 at Oconee Medical Hospital.
Born in St. Louis, daughter of the late August and Henrietta George Weithuechter, she was a retired V.P. in residential home construction with Phillip Dressler, Inc. in Hinsdale, IL. During WWII she worked with the American Red Cross and later worked as a C.P.N. at Barnes Hospital in St. Louis, MO where she worked with the renowned physicians Masters and Johnson.
Esther enjoyed shopping for antiques and gardening. She was an avid Chicago Bears fan and since moving to Clemson had become a fan of CU's men's and women's basketball.
Surviving are one son, Richard R. (Sandra) Harrison of West Hills, CA; daughter, Ellen I. Harrison of Clemson; a brother, Charles Wiet of St. Louis, MO; grandchildren, Sonya Krolik, Jeff (Linsey) Krolik, Melissa (Ryan) Jezek, Laura (Nate) Carr and Rick Harrison; 5 great-grandchildren; and family friend, Judith Walker of Clemson.
No services are scheduled at this time.
