Ethel Bowling Cox, 92, of Windmont Road, Pickens, wife of the late Ralph Cecil Cox, passed away Monday, February 24, 2014 at Cottingham Hospice House.
Born in Pickens County, a daughter of the late Henry and Leasie Aiken Bowling, Mrs. Cox was a homemaker and a member of Easley Bible Methodist Church.
Surviving are a son, Doug Cox (Betty) of Easley; two daughters, Ruby Hardy (Doug) of Pickens and Patricia "Patsy" Beavers (Rev. Jim) of Seneca; two sisters, Dixie Crowe of Greenwood and Betty Schonhut of North Charleston; five grandchildren, fourteen great-grandchildren, three great-great-grandchildren and two step-grandsons. In addition to her husband and parents, Mrs. Cox was predeceased by a daughter, Barbara Jean Cox and by a son, Steve Bowling and by a grandson, Gregory Cox.
Funeral services will be 2:00 PM Wednesday in the chapel of Robinson Funeral Home-Downtown. Burial will follow in Hillcrest Memorial Park.
Visitation will be from 12:30 until 1:45 PM at the funeral home, prior to the service.

The family is at her home and the home of her daughter, Ruby Hardy, 408 Windmont Road, Pickens, SC 29671.
