Ethel E. McElveen

Ethel Ellenburg McElveen, 87, of 404 Oak Street, widow of Jackson V. McElveen died Tuesday, December 4, 2012 at Belvedere Common Assisted Living in Seneca where she had resided for a number of years.
Born in Oconee County, she was a daughter of the late C. Frank and Beulah Ables Ellenburg. For over 20 years she owned and managed National Tax Service in Clemson. Ethel was a member of Clemson United Methodist Church.
Surviving are daughters, Rosemary Rhinehardt of Central and Debbie Sikkema (Dwight) of Stevenson Ranch, CA; son, David McElveen (Lisa) of Pendleton; sisters, Anne E. Jeffries of Myrtle Beach, SC, Frances E. Sisk of Seneca, SC, Joyce E. Burkett of Walterboro, SC, and Janet E. Moore of Dalton, GA; grandchildren, Gina R. Chapman, Regina Bruce, Russell and Emily McElveen, Tyler and Brooke Sikkema; great-grandchildren, Ellison and Erica Chapman and Blaine Willimon.
In addition to her husband, she was predeceased by her son, Jackson V. McElveen, Jr.; grandson, Eric Rhinehardt; brother, Joe Frank Ellenburg; and sister, Doris E. Smith.
Funeral services will be 3:30 PM, Saturday in the chapel of Duckett-Robinson Funeral Home, Central with burial to follow in Old Stone Church Cemetery in Clemson.
Visitation will be from 6 to 8 PM, Friday at the funeral home.
The family is at the home of her daughter, Rosemary Rhinehardt, 310 Fund-du-lac Drive, Central, SC 29630.
