Ethel Childress Price, 87, of 304 Henry St., went to be with the Lord on February 13, 2009, at 5:55 PM
Born in Pickens County, she was a daughter of the late Charlie "Shot" and Katie Edens Reese. She was married to the late Truman Childress and Harold R. Price. Mrs. Price was retired from Southern Weaving and was a member of Cross Roads Baptist Church. She was a member of the Eastern Star, a lifetime member of the Easley Moose Lodge and the Star Lighters Square Dance Club. Mrs. Price loved dancing and singing. She was preceded in death by brothers, Monk and Feltz Reese, sisters, Evelyn Nicholson, Betty Jo Hughes and Margaret Chastain and a granddaughter.
Survivors include: a daughter, Linda C. Williams of Easley; a son and daugher-in-law Charles T. and Smokey Childress of Piedmont; 8 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
Graveside services will be held 2:00 PM Monday at Greenlawn Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 4-6 PM Sunday at Robinson Funeral Home - Downtown.
