Ethel Waldrop Rogers, 68, of 210 Liberty Drive, died Wednesday, December 6, 2006, at her home.

Born in Easley, a daughter of the late Clarence Lester and Agnes Henderson Waldrop, Mrs. Rogers retired from Fairlane-Litchfield Financial Services and was an active member of Rock Springs Baptist Church where she belonged to the Willing Workers Sunday School Class. She was formerly the organist for Geer Memorial Baptist Church for more than twenty-five years.

Surviving are her husband, L.A. "Buddy" Rogers of the home; three daughters, Lisa Temple of Easley, Leigh Redding of Pickens and Lynn Rogers of Seneca; a brother, Sidney Waldrop of Colorado; three sisters, Catherine Jenkins of Virginia, Rubynelle Thyne of Georgia and Linda Gunter of Liberty; five grandchildren, Krissy McMahan and Nicole Galloway both of Liberty, Cody Hollingsworth of Easley, and Chad Lovvorn and Tristian Redding, both of Pickens; two great-grandchildren, Ellagrace and Deacon McMahan, both of Liberty.

Memorial services will be at 2:00 p.m. Saturday at Rock Springs Baptist Church with Rev. Dr. David Gallamore officiating.

The Easley High School Class of 1956 will serve as honorary escort.

Visitation will be from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. Friday at Robinson Funeral Home-Powdersville Road.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the the National Multiple Sclerosis Society, 2711 Middleburg Drive, Suite 105, Columbia, SC 29204.

The family is at the residence.
