Ethel Emma Freeman Taylor of 752 Edinburgh Lane, widow of Austin C. Taylor, was born May 19, 1912 in Pickens County to John Steele and M. Lula Granger Freeman, left our presence on January 20, 2013 and moved into the presence of the Lord.
She was the oldest living member of Hunts Memorial Baptist Church and the Dorcus Sunday School Class.
Survivors are Mildred T. Cobb of Pickens, Beverly T. Cox of Easley, four grandson, Randy and Walter Cox, Aaron Freeman and Bryan Christopher Taylor; a granddaughter, Michelle Cassels; two step-granddaughters, Amanda Warboy and Michelle Cobb; a step-great-grandsons, Randy Cobb; four great-granddaughters, five step-grandsons and eleven great-great-grandchildren; special family friends, Mike McKinney and Margaret Bolding from Easley Seniors Unlimited.
Other than her parents and husband she was predeceased by two sons, Perry D. Taylor and Ricky A. Taylor, one grandson, William Cox, five siblings, and three sons-in-law, Garland Rigdon, Kenneth Cobb and Wallace Cox.
Funeral services will be at 2:00 PM Tuesday at Hunts Memorial Baptist Church. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
Visitation will be from 6:00 until 8:00 PM Monday at Robinson Funeral Home-Downtown.
