Ethel Marie Wood Wardlaw

Ethel Marie Wood Wardlaw, 75, of Pendleton, wife of the late John Vinson Wardlaw, passed away July 25, 2022.

Born in Anderson, she was the daughter of the late Wade and Willie Mae Bridges Wood.  Marie enjoyed crafting, flowers, and birdwatching, but her greatest joy came from the time spent with her grandchildren.  She was a faithful attender of Judah Church, Anderson, SC.

Marie is survived by her daughters, Tammie Lilley and husband Jay of Safety Harbor, FL and Sandy James and husband Jason of Pendleton; grandchildren, Cassidy and Caden James of Pendleton; brother, Wade T. Wood, Jr. of Anderson; sisters, Jennie Potter and Betty Richards, both of Anderson.

A graveside service will be held on Friday, July 29, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. at Memory Gardens, Clemson.  The family will receive friends following the service at the cemetery.

Duckett-Robinson Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
