Ethel McGehee Winchester, 95, formerly of 208 South Second Street and widow of James Arthur Winchester, went to be with her Lord, Thursday, June 4, 2009 at Laurel Hill Living Center.

Born in Uvalda, GA, a daughter of the late George Washington and Vessie Queen Leonia Johnson McGehee, she was a homemaker, self-employed weaver and a member of Easley First Pentacostal Holiness Church.

Surviving are one son, David Arthur Winchester and wife, Doris, of Easley; a daughter, Wanda Vee Klippert and husband, Robert, of El Dorado, AR; one sister, Elvena M. Tollison of Anderson, SC; twelve grandchildren; eighteen great-grandchildren and fourteen great-great-grandchildren.

In addition to her husband and parents, she was predeceased by a son, James Wade Winchester.

Funeral services will be 11:00 AM, Saturday in the chapel of Robinson Funeral Home-Downtown with Rev. Dr. Ronald Moore and Rev. Bob Russo officiating.

Burial will follow in Hillcrest Memorial Park.

Visitation will be from 10 to 11 AM, Saturday, prior to the service at the funeral home.

The family is at the home of the son, David A. Winchester, 210 South Second Street, Easley, SC 29640.
