Eunice Ledford Bice, 87, of 143 Sheriff Road and widow of Willie M. Bice, died Saturday, June 9, 2007 at her home.
Born in Seneca, she was a daughter of the late Lonnie A. and Alma Suttles Ledford. She retired following 45 years of service with Cannon Mills and Central Textiles and was a member of Cannon Memorial Baptist Church.
Surviving are a daughter, Doris B. Madden and husband Buddy of Central; brother, Herman "Buck" Ledford of Central; grandchildren, Skip Madden and wife Janet, Keith Madden and wife Amy and Karen McClure and husband Hubert; great-grandchildren, Nathan Madden, Natalie Madden, Alex Madden, Chris Madden, Carolyn Madden, Lauren McClure and Walt McClure; and special friends, Wilma Kelly and Tommy Holliday. In addition to her parents and husband, Mrs. Bice was predeceased by a daughter, Carolyn Ann Bice and 2 sisters, Bertie Lee Foster and Barbara Jean Smith.
Funeral services will be 2 PM, Tuesday in the chapel of Duckett-Robinson Funeral Home with Rev. Harold Miller and Tommy Holliday officiating.
Burial will be in Mt. Zion Cemetery, Central.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 PM, Monday at the funeral home.
