EUNICE HAWKINS ELROD Central
Eunice Hawkins Elrod, 89, wife of Doyle F. Elrod, died on Saturday, December 30, 2006. She was a lifelong resident of Central and was the daughter of the late Henry and Carrie Hawkins. She was a cosmetologist for 30 years and was a charter member of the Order of Eastern Star, a member of Mt. Zion United Methodist Church and was a Daughter of the United Confederacy.
She is survived by her husband, Doyle, who resides at the Alterra Sterling House in Central. She is also survived by a brother: Charles Hawkins of Columbia; a sister, Sue H. Goodman of Laurens; eight nieces and nephews and fourteen great nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held Monday, Jan. 1, 2007 at 2:00pm in the chapel of Duckett-Robinson Funeral Home. Visitation will be at the funeral home from 1 2pm on Monday prior to the service. Interment will follow at Memory Gardens in Clemson.
