Eunice H. Gantt Easley, SC
Eunice Holliday Phillips Gantt, 93, of Northway Drive, passed away Friday, April 22, 2016 at Greenville Place.
Born in Pickens County, she was a daughter of the late Frank and Elsie Tinsley Holliday.
Mrs. Gantt was twice married, first to the late George Hill Phillips and secondly to the late Dwight Gantt. She was retired from Dan River, Woodside Mill, in Liberty after thirty years of dedicated service and was a member of Park Street Baptist Church in Easley for over seventy-years.
Surviving are her children, Randall Phillips (Claudette) of Pickens and Donna Phillips Snyder of Easley; a daughter-in-law, Nikki Owens Phillips of Easley; four grandchildren, Eric Phillips, Delana Snyder Kendrick (Robert), Gary Phillips (Amanda) and Heather Phillips (Scott); great grandchildren, Caleb and Mecca Murphy; step daughters, Judy Robinson (Danny) of Easley and Jane Nix (James) of Pickens; and several step grandchildren and step great grandchildren.
In addition to her husbands and parents, she was predeceased by a son, George David Phillips; a son-in-law, Stan Snyder; a step son, Steve Gantt; a brother, Joel F. Holliday; and sisters, Louise Turner and Bobbie Harris.
The family expresses their gratitude to Lutheran Hospice and especially to the nurses and staff at Greenville Place Memory Care Center for the exceptional care given to Mrs. Gantt.
Funeral services will be held on Monday, April 25, 2016 at 3:00 PM at Park Street Baptist Church with burial to follow in Greenlawn Memorial Park.
The family will receive friends prior to the service on Monday from 1:30 PM until 2:45 PM at the church.
