Eva S. Maxwell

Eva Darlene Swann Maxwell, 64, of 242 Peach Drive, wife of Lloyd J. Maxwell died Tuesday, January 14, 2014 at her home while under the care of Lutheran Hospice.
Born in Asheville, NC, she was a daughter of the late Norman Richard and Billie Marie Weathers Swann. She moved to Anderson, SC at age 20 and thereafter married her husband of 44 years. Eva was a retired employee with 28 years of service with Clemson University. She was a long time member and taught little children at Bishop Branch Baptist Church for over 40 years.
Besides her husband, she leaves behind cherished memories of her brothers-in-law, Pat Maxwell and his wife, Fay of Pickens, SC and John Wardlaw and his wife Diane of Central, SC; a half-sister, Vanessa Atkins of Asheville, NC; a niece and nephew of Kentucky; and a lot of friends.
In addition to her parents she was predeceased by two little stillborn angels; and her sister, Norma Edwards.
A private graveside service will be held at Corinth #2 Baptist Church Cemetery.
