Eva Kay James Watson, 100, formerly of Central died Friday, July 27, 2012 at the Cottingham Hospice House in Seneca.

Born in Lumber City, GA, she was a daughter of the late Luther Perry and Victoria Rebecca Brannon Kay. Mrs. Watson was a retired textile employee and a member of Clemson Church of God.

Surviving are son, Roy T. (Betty) James of West Union, SC; daughter, Maudine Eva James Tyre of Piedmont; step-son, Corbin Watson of Salem; sister, Eunice Gambrell of Central; 7 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; and 7 great-great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her first husband, Charlie J. James and her second husband, Marvin T. Watson; 2 brothers, Leroy and Jack Kay; and 1 sister, Margaret Kay.

Funeral services will be 11 AM, Monday in the chapel of Duckett-Robinson Funeral Home with burial to follow in Mt. Zion Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 6 to 8 PM, Sunday at the funeral home.

The family will be at their respective homes.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Hospice of the Foothills, Oconee Memorial Foundation, 298 Memorial Drive, Seneca, SC 29672.
