Evalea Ellenburg Howard, 79, formerly of Pickens, SC, died Sunday, January 11, 2009 at Laurel Baye Healthcare of Greenville.
Born in Pickens County, a daughter of the late Rufus Newton and Sadie Stewart Ellenburg, she was a retired employee of Westpoint Stevens and was of the Baptist faith.
Survivng are one son, David Turner of Easley; one brother, D.C. Ellenburg of Six Mile; a sister, Cornelia Langston of Walhalla; five grandchildren; and ten great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents she was predeceased by two sons, Arthur and Robert Wilson; one brother, D.C. Ellenburg; and husband, Oscar Wilson.
Funeral services will be 2 PM, Wednesday in the chapel of Robinson Funeral Home-Downtown with Rev. Alton Nix officiating.
Burial will follow in Memory Gardens at Clemson.
Visitation will be from 6 to 8 PM, Tuesday at the funeral home.
The family is at the home of the son David Turner, 110 Fox Chase Road, Easley, SC 29640.
