Mrs. Evelyn Williams Edens, 79, of Dacusville, widow of the late Carroll D. Edens, passed away Friday, May 15, 2015 at National Health Care Of Mauldin.

Mrs. Edens was born in Pickens County on October 12, 1935 to the late G.B. and Elizabeth N. Williams. She graduated from Dacusville High School, then received her Associate's Degree from Drawns Business College. She retired from Belk's Department Store and was the co-owner and operator of Mid-South Textile Machinery. Mrs. Edens loved to travel, work in her garden, and shop. She also loved spending time with her family, especially children, and attended Mt. Tabor Baptist Church in Dacusville.

Mrs. Edens is survived by a brother; Jim Williams (Carol), of Mauldin; 5 nieces; and one great-niece.

In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by a brother; Bruce Williams.

Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 AM on Monday, May 18, 2015 in the Chapel of Robinson Funeral Home - Downtown. Interment will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Park in Pickens.

The family will receive friends at the Funeral Home prior to the service on Monday from 10:00 AM until 10:45 AM.

The family wishes to thank The Palmettos Of Mauldin and National Health Care of Mauldin for all their excellent care and concern that they have shown for Mrs. Edens.

Flowers are optional, or the family asks that memorial donations be made to the Alzheimer's Association, 301 University Ridge #5000, Greenville, SC 29601.
